All the three castes of A. mellifera were found harbouring the adult females of T. clareae on their bodies. The mites were found attached to the narrow posterior mesothoracic plate, second abdominal tergite and propodeum of bces. The incoming foragers and drones harboured lesser number of mites than the outgoing OTICS.
