Abstract

The study contains two aims. The first the bio-efficacy of two pesticides Transact 1.8 EC (abamectin, content) and Vapcomic 1.8 % EC (abamectin, content) using two concentrations of 0.5 and 1.0 ml/l against two-spotted spider mite Tetranychus urticae Koch. The second is the determination of abamectin residues on cucumber fruits during the agriculture season 2019-2020. The results showed that the pesticides Transact and Vapcomic significantly affected the mortality of T. urticae. A higher mortality of 100% was recorded using Transact at concentration 1 ml /l after 7 days of treatment. The least effective was the Vapcomic at concentrations of 0.5-1.0 ml corresponding to a mortality rate of 77.80 - 82.97% after one day of treatment. Abamectin residues in cucumber fruit showed that the percentage (Please, clearly indicate this % you are talking about) was 88.93 mg/kg after one hour of treatment, 3.70 mg/kg after 10 days of treatment and then the HPLC did not record any recommended concentration. The pesticide concentration continues to reduce overtime in 0.5 and 1 ml/L after 3 days reached 131.8 and 169.2 mg/kg respectively. the HPLC can not detect the pesticide after 7 days of treatment I could not understand the information given in this last sentence.
